EliteTeQ Inbox in Nigeria
Businesses in Nigeria pay the same US-dollar prices. Card, charged in Kenyan shillings at the day’s rate. Replies inside the 24-hour window after a customer writes are free. Meta charges for template messages you start (marketing, authentication and most utility templates), priced by the customer’s country, so a template to a Nigerian number is billed at Meta’s Nigeria rate. Chats that start from a Click-to-WhatsApp ad are free for 72 hours. Meta bills these charges to your own Meta account; they are not part of the EliteTeQ price.
In Nigeria, a lot of buying starts as a WhatsApp or Instagram message: a price check, a “is this available?”, a photo of a product. When one phone is shared between staff, those enquiries get lost overnight. EliteTeQ Inbox puts them in one list that the whole team can see, from Lagos to Kano.
Customers write in English, Pidgin, Yoruba, Hausa or Igbo, often mixed in one chat. Your team answers the way the customer writes; template messages are created in English.
Office hours are set day by day for each number. A common setup in Lagos or Abuja: weekdays open, Saturday mornings open, Sunday closed. Anyone who writes while you are closed gets your away message, at most once every 12 hours, and the chat waits at the top of the list for the morning.
Selling on WhatsApp in Nigeria
Commerce is concentrated in Lagos, the southeast trading cities and the northern market hubs, each with its own pricing culture. Instant transfer displaced cash faster than most markets, and agent networks fill the gap where branches do not reach. Power interruption is a daily operating assumption, not an incident.
Rivers State · the centre of Nigeria's oil and gas industry
Demand follows contractor cycles and corporate accounts more than walk-in footfall, and the expatriate-facing venues trade on a different basket entirely. Heavy Delta rainfall knocks out power and connectivity for hours at a time, often in the same season every year. Port Harcourt's retail and hospitality trade is tied to the oil and gas economy and the contractor and expatriate spending that comes with it, which makes demand more cyclical than in Lagos or Ibadan and raises the share of card and corporate account payments. The same prices apply to a team in Port Harcourt as anywhere else.
Anambra State · one of West Africa's largest market and distribution centres
The main market sets prices for a wide swathe of the southeast, and goods arrive in bulk before being broken down and moved on within days. Trading starts early and volume is relentless. Onitsha is a distribution city first and a retail city second: goods arrive, are broken into smaller lots and move on across the southeast and beyond. The same prices apply to a team in Onitsha as anywhere else.
Abia State · a manufacturing and garment-production centre
Production clusters and selling points sit side by side, so the same business often makes goods in the morning and sells them in the afternoon. Orders come from traders in batches rather than from individual shoppers. Aba is known for small-scale manufacturing, particularly garments, footwear and leather goods, much of it produced in clusters of workshops and sold on to traders. The same prices apply to a team in Aba as anywhere else.
Edo State · the commercial and administrative centre of Edo State
Retail concentrates along the ring road and the main market areas, with steady transit trade from the Lagos–southeast route passing through. Most operators run one or two outlets. Benin City serves as the trade and administrative hub for Edo State and a staging point on the routes between Lagos and the southeast, which gives it a steady mix of local retail, transit trade and government-linked services spending. The same prices apply to a team in Benin City as anywhere else.

Questions businesses ask us
Not answered here? A person from our team replies on WhatsApp.
Yes, 7 days with every Business feature open. You choose a plan in Settings → Billing when you’re ready.
How do we pay?
Card, charged in Kenyan shillings at the day’s rate, through Paystack. You get a receipt from EliteTeQ Softwares Limited for every payment.
What happens if we pay late?
Your chats and contacts are kept safe. Choose a plan and pay in Settings → Billing to carry on where you left off.
Are WhatsApp’s message charges included?
No. Meta charges for template messages you start, at its rate for the customer’s country, and bills your own Meta account. Replies within 24 hours of a customer’s message are free.
Can we add more people or numbers?
Yes. Each extra person is $8 a month on Starter or Growth (Business already has unlimited people), and each extra WhatsApp number is $10 a month on any plan. Yearly, each costs 10 months.
How many WhatsApp numbers can one business have?
Up to 20. That is Meta’s limit per business, not ours: a new business can register 2 WhatsApp numbers, and Meta raises it to 20 once the business is verified with Meta. Growth includes 2 numbers and Business 3; each extra number is $10 a month. Facebook and Instagram inboxes don’t count as numbers.
Do you set it up for us?
You can do it yourself, free. Or pick a one-off setup when you first pay: Basic $50 (we connect WhatsApp, Facebook and Instagram and add your team), Standard $100 (plus contacts, pipeline, templates and automatic replies) or Premium $150 (plus a 1-hour team training and a check-in two weeks later).
How much does a WhatsApp CRM cost in Nigeria?
EliteTeQ Inbox costs the same in Nigeria as everywhere: Starter is $29 a month (1 WhatsApp number, 3 people), Growth $59 (2 numbers, 6 people) and Business $99 (3 numbers, unlimited people), in US dollars. Paying yearly costs 10 months. Extra people are $8 a month and extra numbers $10. Card, charged in Kenyan shillings at the day’s rate. Meta’s own charges for template messages to Nigerian numbers are separate and billed to your Meta account.
Why is EliteTeQ Inbox priced in US dollars in Nigeria?
The plans are priced in US dollars in every country. Payment is by card on Paystack’s secure page and is charged in Kenyan shillings at the day’s rate, because EliteTeQ is based in Nairobi. Your bank may show a currency conversion.
