EliteTeQ Inbox in Cameroon
Businesses in Cameroon pay the same US-dollar prices. Card, charged in Kenyan shillings at the day’s rate. Replies inside the 24-hour window after a customer writes are free. Meta charges for template messages you start (marketing, authentication and most utility templates), priced by the customer’s country, so a template to a Cameroonian number is billed at Meta’s Cameroon rate. Chats that start from a Click-to-WhatsApp ad are free for 72 hours. Meta bills these charges to your own Meta account; they are not part of the EliteTeQ price.
In Cameroon, a business may hear from customers in French in Douala and in English in Buea on the same day. EliteTeQ Inbox lets you assign each chat to the teammate best placed to answer it.
Cameroon is bilingual: customers write in French or English, and often switch. Your team replies in either, and template messages can be created in French or English.
Office hours are set day by day for each number. A common setup in Douala or Yaoundé: weekdays open, Saturday mornings open, Sunday closed. Anyone who writes while you are closed gets your away message, at most once every 12 hours, and the chat waits at the top of the list for the morning.
Selling on WhatsApp in Cameroon
Douala handles the port and the transit trade for landlocked neighbours while Yaoundé runs on administration. The country trades in French and English depending on the region, so receipting has to follow the customer.
South-West Region · an administrative and university town on Mount Cameroon
The university sets the calendar — food, convenience and services swing hard between term and vacation — and trade is conducted in English. Buea combines regional administration with a substantial student population, producing pronounced term-time swings in food, convenience and services demand. Trade is conducted mainly in English. The same prices apply to a team in Buea as anywhere else.
South-West Region · a coastal town with refining and tourism activity
Refinery and port supply sits alongside a coastal leisure trade, giving steady weekday business-to-business demand and sharp weekend peaks. The binding constraint is running invoicing for industry customers and fast table service for weekend visitors from the same system. Limbe's trade mixes industrial supply to refining and port activity with a coastal leisure and hospitality trade, so businesses see both steady business-to-business demand and sharp weekend and holiday peaks. The same prices apply to a team in Limbe as anywhere else.
Littoral Region · Cameroon's economic capital and principal port
The port corridor and the Akwa and Bonanjo commercial areas carry most formal trade, while goods bound for Chad and the Central African Republic pass straight through. Douala is the commercial and logistics centre for Cameroon and for landlocked neighbours inland, so a large share of its wholesale trade is transit and re-export rather than local retail. The same prices apply to a team in Douala as anywhere else.

Questions businesses ask us
Not answered here? A person from our team replies on WhatsApp.
Yes, 7 days with every Business feature open. You choose a plan in Settings → Billing when you’re ready.
How do we pay?
Card, charged in Kenyan shillings at the day’s rate, through Paystack. You get a receipt from EliteTeQ Softwares Limited for every payment.
What happens if we pay late?
Your chats and contacts are kept safe. Choose a plan and pay in Settings → Billing to carry on where you left off.
Are WhatsApp’s message charges included?
No. Meta charges for template messages you start, at its rate for the customer’s country, and bills your own Meta account. Replies within 24 hours of a customer’s message are free.
Can we add more people or numbers?
Yes. Each extra person is $8 a month on Starter or Growth (Business already has unlimited people), and each extra WhatsApp number is $10 a month on any plan. Yearly, each costs 10 months.
How many WhatsApp numbers can one business have?
Up to 20. That is Meta’s limit per business, not ours: a new business can register 2 WhatsApp numbers, and Meta raises it to 20 once the business is verified with Meta. Growth includes 2 numbers and Business 3; each extra number is $10 a month. Facebook and Instagram inboxes don’t count as numbers.
Do you set it up for us?
You can do it yourself, free. Or pick a one-off setup when you first pay: Basic $50 (we connect WhatsApp, Facebook and Instagram and add your team), Standard $100 (plus contacts, pipeline, templates and automatic replies) or Premium $150 (plus a 1-hour team training and a check-in two weeks later).
How much does a WhatsApp CRM cost in Cameroon?
EliteTeQ Inbox costs the same in Cameroon as everywhere: Starter is $29 a month (1 WhatsApp number, 3 people), Growth $59 (2 numbers, 6 people) and Business $99 (3 numbers, unlimited people), in US dollars. Paying yearly costs 10 months. Extra people are $8 a month and extra numbers $10. Card, charged in Kenyan shillings at the day’s rate. Meta’s own charges for template messages to Cameroonian numbers are separate and billed to your Meta account.
Why is EliteTeQ Inbox priced in US dollars in Cameroon?
The plans are priced in US dollars in every country. Payment is by card on Paystack’s secure page and is charged in Kenyan shillings at the day’s rate, because EliteTeQ is based in Nairobi. Your bank may show a currency conversion.
