EliteTeQ Inbox in Zambia
Businesses in Zambia pay the same US-dollar prices. Card, charged in Kenyan shillings at the day’s rate. Replies inside the 24-hour window after a customer writes are free. Meta charges for template messages you start (marketing, authentication and most utility templates), priced by the customer’s country, so a template to a Zambian number is billed at Meta’s Zambia rate. Chats that start from a Click-to-WhatsApp ad are free for 72 hours. Meta bills these charges to your own Meta account; they are not part of the EliteTeQ price.
In Zambia, customers message to ask about prices and stock before travelling across town or from the Copperbelt. EliteTeQ Inbox keeps every one of those questions visible until someone has answered it.
Customers write in English, Bemba, Nyanja and other languages. Your team replies in the customer’s language; template messages are created in English.
Office hours are set day by day for each number. A common setup in Lusaka: weekdays open, Saturday mornings open, Sunday closed. Anyone who writes while you are closed gets your away message, at most once every 12 hours, and the chat waits at the top of the list for the morning.
Selling on WhatsApp in Zambia
The Copperbelt and Lusaka carry most formal trade, and mining pay dates concentrate demand into month-end far more sharply than in diversified economies. As a landlocked market, most goods arrive overland from the south, so shelf price follows freight cost.
North-Western Province · a rapidly grown centre for new copper mining
Rapid growth around new copper mining has produced a young wage-earning population and a retail sector still catching up, supplied over long routes from Lusaka. The binding constraint is reorder accuracy against those distances during month-end surges. Solwezi has expanded quickly around large-scale copper mining, which gives it a young wage-earning population, strong month-end demand peaks and a retail sector still catching up with the town's growth. The same prices apply to a team in Solwezi as anywhere else.
Central Province · a central town on the main rail and road corridor
The town sits on the corridor between Lusaka and the Copperbelt, adding transit and distribution trade to a university and provincial retail base. The binding constraint is holding bulk and unit pricing for a genuinely mixed customer set. Kabwe grew as a lead and zinc mining town and remains a railway junction on Zambia's central line, so its commerce today mixes rail-linked freight handling, a university population and retail serving a province of farming districts. The same prices apply to a team in Kabwe as anywhere else.
Large-scale copper mining sets the rhythm, with pronounced month-end spending and sensitivity to shifts in mine activity. Retail clusters around the town centre and mine townships. Chingola's trade follows the rhythm of large-scale copper mining, with pronounced month-end spending peaks and sensitivity to shifts in mining activity. The same prices apply to a team in Chingola as anywhere else.
Copperbelt Province · a Copperbelt mining town near the DRC border
Mining employment combines with proximity to the Congolese border, adding cross-border shoppers and a second currency to a payday-driven pattern. The binding constraint is clean mixed-tender records when customers arrive from both sides. Mufulira combines mining employment with proximity to the Congolese border, which adds cross-border shoppers and multi-currency exposure to an otherwise mining-driven demand pattern. The same prices apply to a team in Mufulira as anywhere else.

Questions businesses ask us
Not answered here? A person from our team replies on WhatsApp.
Yes, 7 days with every Business feature open. You choose a plan in Settings → Billing when you’re ready.
How do we pay?
Card, charged in Kenyan shillings at the day’s rate, through Paystack. You get a receipt from EliteTeQ Softwares Limited for every payment.
What happens if we pay late?
Your chats and contacts are kept safe. Choose a plan and pay in Settings → Billing to carry on where you left off.
Are WhatsApp’s message charges included?
No. Meta charges for template messages you start, at its rate for the customer’s country, and bills your own Meta account. Replies within 24 hours of a customer’s message are free.
Can we add more people or numbers?
Yes. Each extra person is $8 a month on Starter or Growth (Business already has unlimited people), and each extra WhatsApp number is $10 a month on any plan. Yearly, each costs 10 months.
How many WhatsApp numbers can one business have?
Up to 20. That is Meta’s limit per business, not ours: a new business can register 2 WhatsApp numbers, and Meta raises it to 20 once the business is verified with Meta. Growth includes 2 numbers and Business 3; each extra number is $10 a month. Facebook and Instagram inboxes don’t count as numbers.
Do you set it up for us?
You can do it yourself, free. Or pick a one-off setup when you first pay: Basic $50 (we connect WhatsApp, Facebook and Instagram and add your team), Standard $100 (plus contacts, pipeline, templates and automatic replies) or Premium $150 (plus a 1-hour team training and a check-in two weeks later).
How much does a WhatsApp CRM cost in Zambia?
EliteTeQ Inbox costs the same in Zambia as everywhere: Starter is $29 a month (1 WhatsApp number, 3 people), Growth $59 (2 numbers, 6 people) and Business $99 (3 numbers, unlimited people), in US dollars. Paying yearly costs 10 months. Extra people are $8 a month and extra numbers $10. Card, charged in Kenyan shillings at the day’s rate. Meta’s own charges for template messages to Zambian numbers are separate and billed to your Meta account.
Why is EliteTeQ Inbox priced in US dollars in Zambia?
The plans are priced in US dollars in every country. Payment is by card on Paystack’s secure page and is charged in Kenyan shillings at the day’s rate, because EliteTeQ is based in Nairobi. Your bank may show a currency conversion.
